Workshop "English in Action"

What an event!
Last week was quite unusual. We didn’t start our school lessons as written on the timetables. Instead, we joined in an intensive English workshop at the NMS Schattendorf with native speakers. 16 pupils from the 4th form of the VS Schattendorf with their class teacher Inge Holzhofer and 25 pupils from the 1st to the 4th form of the NMS Schattendorf were taking part. This was a quite interesting mixture of students. Monday till Wednesday the only language we practised during the lessons, was English. The lesson activities were hold by the teachers of “English in Action” – Christine, Phil and Jon. It was really great fun but sometimes also very hard for us to listen to, speak and write in English for more than 5 hours. On Wednesday afternoon we performed a fantastic show in the gym for our parents, grandparents and friends. They gave us a big applause after experiencing how much progress we had made in only three days.
