Engleski projektni tajedan u SŠ Sveti Mihalj

Od 16. do 20. februara 2026. održao se je u SŠ Sv. Mihalj Engleski projektni tajedan za školarice i školare 4. razredov. Tajedan su peljali „native speakeri“ Dave i Will, ki su s puno entuzijazma i na zabavan način poticali mlade na aktivno govorenje engleskoga jezika.

Na programu su bile jezične igre, športske aktivnosti, intervjui, prezentacije, skupno kuhanje i kreativni projekti kot PowerPoint prezentacije i novinski plakati. Najvažnije je bilo, da su školarice i školari cijeli tajedan komunicirali samo na engleskom jeziku i pritom jačali sigurnost u govoru.

Cilj projekta bio je poboljšati i učvrstiti aktivno upotribljavanje engleskoga jezika i pokazati mladini, kako važan je engleski jezik za daljnje školovanje, zvanje i medjunarodne kontakte.

Na kraju tajedna su svi gizdavo predstavili svoja djela i pokazali, koliko su napredovali u kratkom vrimenu.

English Project Week in St. Michael / Burgenland

We recently spent five enjoyable and productive days with the 4th classes at MS St. Michael during our English Project Week. The programme combined classroom learning with practical activities such as language games, sports and cooking — all in English. This helped students experience English as a real-life communication tool. In class students created PowerPoint presentations and a newspaper poster project, confidently presenting their work at the end of the week. A special highlight was taking part in the local Carnival celebration in the village square. The week strengthened students’ confidence and showed how important English is for future education, careers and international connections. Our sincere thanks go to the Director, the English Week convenor and the students oft he 4th classes for their enthusiasm and warm welcome.
